Unregistered User Data Input

The data input for incidental wildlife observations is simple.  Use the geolocation maps that follow the login screen to find your observation location.  Once you have located your wildlife observation on the geolocator map, click "set map point" and you will be taken to the data submission section. This page will look like the section below  (data cannot be entered below but you can see what is required to record a wildlife observation for a mammal species).  If you have observations for herptile (amphibian or reptile) or bird species, just specify that at the “Data Submission: Choose Data Type” screen.

The fields found in the above data submission example correspond to the "field data sheets". To make your data collection easier, download and print out a field data sheet.  The data choices for each field above are all listed on the sheet.  You only need to choose one for each data field. You need Adobe Acrobat Reader to access the data sheets.
